Instructional Priorities describe observable teacher moves, student actions, and environments that lead to a “warm demander” classroom that is supported by culturally responsive practices.
A “warm demander” is a teacher who communicates personal warmth toward students while simultaneously demanding they work toward high standards. The ultimate goal is to nurture and cultivate independent learners at all grade levels. Read more about the instructional priorities here.
