Welcome to the Salem Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC) page. We are a group of parents/guardians of children who receive special education services in the Salem school district. A SEPAC is a public body established by Massachusetts law which serves as an adviser to the School Committee on matters that pertain to the education and safety of students with disabilities. In addition, the SEPAC meets regularly with school officials to participate in the planning, development, and evaluation of the district’s special education programs. We are also a resource for parents/guardians of children who receive special education services whether through an IEP or 504 plan in the Salem school district. We provide educational workshops and are available for support and to help answer questions and provide resources about special education services.

Salem SEPAC is open to all parents/guardians of children with disabilities and other interested parties. If you are interested in joining Salem SEPAC, please contact us by email or through our Facebook page.
