Salem Public Schools has expanded its offerings for early learning — preschool, pre-kindergarten and kindergarten — significantly over the past year. Schools with Kindergarten Programs
Children residing in Salem turning 5 years on or before Aug. 31 are eligible to start kindergarten in the Fall of 2025.
Schools with Pre-Kindergarten Programs
Children residing in Salem turning 4 years on or before Aug. 31 are eligible to enter the lottery for the SPS pre-kindergarten program in the Fall of 2025.
More Early Learning Program Information
Children residing in Salem turning 3 years on or before Aug. 31 are eligible to enter the lottery for the preschool program at the Salem Early Childhood Center in the Fall of 2025.
