VIEW GALLERY: Highlights from STEM Week

Salem Public Schools students were universally engaged in STEM Week (Oct. 16-20), from Saltonstall School Project Lead the Way (PLTW) eighth graders designing an ankle/foot orthosis; to Salem High School AP and beginner biology students conducting field work at the Forest River Conservation Area.
Additionally, five SPS educators attended the PLTW Conference at Worcester Polytechnic Institute Oct. 16, while the SHS Robotics Club has nearly doubled its membership from a year ago.
At the Oct. 16 School Committee meeting, Collins Middle School STEM educator Greg Beach and his students gave a presentation of a Robotics unit.
