VIEW GALLERY: Salem Public Schools 2024-25 Convocation

Tuesday, Aug. 27 saw the official start to the school year as Salem Public Schools held its 2024-25 Convocation, a raucous, spirited event.

A full house of educators in the Veterans Memorial Field House took part in purposeful competitions and enjoyed a terrific performance from the local dance troupe Fly Kidz, led by Salem High School Class of 2014 graduate Juan Cruz. Additionally 16 educators — who have a combined 506 years experience in teaching — were honored with bouquets of flowers. 

Congratulations to the staff of the Collins Middle School which won the coveted Convocation Battle of the Schools Trophy.
