The next class of Sharks were well-represented Wednesday, Jan. 24, at the 2024 Collins Middle School Showcase, which drew countless fifth-grade students and their families moving on to middle school this fall.
Families were treated to displays of areas of study such as Green Architecture, Robotics, Energy and the Environment, Early Education, Food and Nutrition, Career Technical Education, and more. CMS student leaders guided tours of the historical school while many faculty and staff engaged families in the immersive education CMS offers.
The transformative middle school education that CMS offers is consistent with the core priorities of Salem Public Schools Strategic Plan:
