Back to School Fair Relocated to Collins Middle School

The Salem Public Schools 2026 Back to School Fair, scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 19, has been relocated to the Collins Middle School due to construction in the area of the Sarah Parker Remond School building and playground.

The rain date for the Back to School Fair is Thursday, Aug. 20.

• Vendors and community organizations will display at the rear of the Collins Middle School (see attached map linked and below, highlighted in red).
• Free transportation will be available to families who need it in and around the City of Salem (view map of bus stops).
• Parking (see map below, highlighted in orange) is available at Collins Middle School, Broad Street Playground, and Jackson Street lots, with overflow parking at the Salem Hospital satellite lot located on the Powder House Lane entrance to the school.
• Backpacks will be provided to each student attending the Fair. For those unable to attend, students and families can retrieve their backpacks at the Family Welcome Center, located on the first floor of the Collins Middle School.
• The deadline to host a table or to register as a volunteer is Friday, Aug. 14. | REGISTER NOW
