Massachusetts awards $8 million to expand early college programs

The Healey-Driscoll Administration announced $8 million in grants for Early College programs, an initiative that allows high school students to take college credit-bearing classes at no cost. 

Over the past two years, the Administration has designated 16 new Early College Program Partnerships, achieving a 31% increase in student participation since the 2022-2023 school year. More than 9,000 students are expected to participate in the program this year.
