VIEW GALLERY: Horace Mann, SHS Scholars Experience Adaptive Sports

On Wednesday, Apr. 30 it was the students at the Horace Mann Laboratory School and Salem High School who experienced sports from a different perspective.
Hosted by Spaulding Rehabilitation Center Adaptive Sports, HMLS scholars competed in wheelchair basketball and boccia while SHS scholars enjoyed adaptive archery and cornhole.
The event is part of the Sports, Equity, Education program at Salem Public Schools which brings adaptive sports, including beep baseball, to schools in the district Scholars throughout the district.
