SALEM — Public officials met at Witchcraft Heights Elementary School Monday to honor an award-winning teacher and mark the beginning of Teacher Appreciation Week.
Lt. Gov. Kim Driscoll, Mayor Dominic Pangallo, and Rep. Manny Cruz visited the school to present Marta García, a third and fourth grade English second language teacher and 2022 Massachusetts teacher of the year, with a citation recognizing the hard work of her and other Witchcraft Heights educators.
