Mass Cultural Council awards creative project funding

Public schools in Salem and Peabody were recently awarded with grant funding from a state program with $25,000 going towards school-based creative projects for K-12 students.

The Mass Cultural Council’s Creative Youth Development program awards one-year grants of $5,000 each to fund school-based creative projects and programs that engage young people in the arts, sciences, and humanities, and foster critical thinking, self-expression, and collaboration. Through fiscal 2025 Creative Projects for Schools initiative, the Mass Cultural Council has invested $1.5 million statewide at more than 300 schools.
