VIEW GALLERY: National School Lunch Week

School lunch is a treasure.
Such was the message last week as faculty, staff and guests took to the Pirate theme and each day’s activities.
In a short week due to Indigenous Peoples Day, students received gold necklaces Tuesday and free Pirate’s Booty popcorn. Wednesday, students at each school were treated to guest servers at lunch, including Superintendent Dr. Stephen Zrike and Mayor Dominick Pangallo as well as member of the Salem Police Department, Fire Department and School Committee.
Scholars were treated to music during lunch period on Thursday making for a fun, new ambience. On Friday, members of Salem High School’s varsity teams volunteered to be guest servers throughout the school district.
