VIEW GALLERY | Salem High School CTE Career Fair Draws Record 47 Business Partners, Countless Interactions

Real work experience has become a natural partner priority with earning a diploma for Salem High School students.

SHS scholars were not at a loss for such on Thursday, Apr. 16 as the High School’s Career Technical Education department hosted its fifth annual Career Fair — aptly themed ‘Passport to Possibilities’ — as a record 47 business partners attended and interacted with hundreds of students.

As students entered the Veterans Memorial Fieldhouse, they were presented their ‘passports’ and tasked with collecting nine stamps — requiring visits and facilitating conversations with business partners in attendance — to discuss internships, work and careers, volunteerism and more.
