The Salem News | Salem High students get real-world experience at Salem Hospital

SALEM — Salem High School students recently spent time gaining hands-on experience in the medical field working at Mass General Brigham’s Salem Hospital through the school’s new medical assisting program.

The new collaboration between Salem High’s Career and Technical Education Medical Assisting program and Salem Hospital provides students with the opportunity to complete a portion of their required practicum hours in a real-world healthcare setting.
