Salem High School, Marblehead Boys to Clash in Andrew Lawson Foundation Basketball Invitational at TD Garden

Twelve-game Invitational slated for Sunday, Jan. 14

SALEM (Dec. 18, 2023) – The Salem High School boys basketball team will face Marblehead H.S. in the Andrew James Lawson Foundation Invitational Sunday, Jan. 14 (2:30 p.m.) at the TD Garden.

The Salem-Marblehead clash is one of 12 games scheduled for the day. The Invitational benefits the Andrew Lawson Foundation in raising funds to enable students with intellectual and developmental disabilities experience inclusion in their communities.

Admission is $25 per person.

The full schedule is as follows:

  • Unified: Plymouth North vs. Plymouth South, 8 a.m.
  • Unified: Revere vs. Everett, 9 a.m.
  • Girls: Revere vs. Notre Dame Academy, 10 a.m.
  • Girls: Pembroke vs. Sandwich, 11:30 a.m.
  • Boys: Nantucket vs. Martha’s Vineyard, 1 p.m.
  • Boys: Salem vs. Marblehead, 2:30 p.m.
  • Boys: Cambridge vs. Chelsea, 4 p.m.
  • Girls: Dexter Southfield vs. Noble and Greenough, 5:30 p.m.
  • Girls: Worcester Academy vs. Rivers School, 7 p.m.
  • Boys: Tabor Academy vs. Rivers, 8 p.m.

Salem opens the 2023-24 season Tuesday at Gloucester (7 p.m.).
