From the Saturday morning ‘Cartoon League’ in her native Salem to the pinnacle of the Division 3 college ranks, Andrea Bertini has always loved the game of basketball.
The head coach of her alma mater, Westfield State University, for the last 19 seasons, Bertini recently reached a career milestone by earned her 350th as a collegiate women’s basketball coach. What keeps this 1992 Salem High graduate energized after overseeing hundreds of players, thousands of shots and countless hours at the court over the years?
