If you go to watch the Salem High baseball team this spring and senior righthander Riley Fenerty is starting, don’t be late.
He’s a ‘blink and you might miss it’ kind of pitcher.
When Fenerty’s back foot touches the rubber, it’s go time. Working at an impressive pace that’s both efficient and economical, he owns both of Salem’s wins so far this season; what’s more, they’ve both been complete game shutouts on an average of just 77 total pitches.
