VIEW GALLERY: Salem School Committee Members Observe BAIS Dual Language Program

Members of the Salem School Committee visited several classrooms at the Bentley Academy Innovation School on Tuesday, Mar. 25, to observe students and educators in the dual language program interacting in both Spanish and English, from pre-K to grade 5.

While the dual language program at BAIS is thriving, Salem Public Schools will submit a preliminary application to the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) in November to create a dual language pathway at the Collins Middle School, with the goal to begin with the academic year 2026-27.
