Remembering Salem High basketball’s golden era: the 1990 boys state champions

‘Twas an unmatched era of Salem High boys and girls basketball dominance spanning 15 years from 1980 to 1995. This is the perfect time to remember those halcyon days as we mark their 45th, 35th and 30th anniversaries as state champions.
In part two of our series today, we’ll take a look back at the 1990 Division 2 state champion Salem High boys’ hoopsters, who went 24-2 and were led by led by future Temple University, nine-year NBA player and current New York Knicks assistant coach Rick Brunson, plus head coach Jack O’Brien.
