Salem High School’s Black Cat Bistro Readies for Grand Opening Wednesday
SALEM (Oct. 1, 2024) – The Salem High School Career Technical Education (CTE) Department has announced the grand opening of the Black Cat Bistro for Wednesday, Oct. 2, at 11:15 a.m.
Open to the public, the Black Cat Bistro is located on the first floor of SHS at the rear of the building. Operating hours are Wednesday through Friday, 11:15-1:00 p.m.
Parking is available behind the Veterans Memorial Field House near the main entrance to the Black Cat Bistro.
Consistent with the District’s Strategic Plan’s core principle of elevating learning, the launch of the Bistro has been overseen by SHS’s third-year Culinary Arts students who have carefully planned each step, calculated food costs, and developed a variety of delicious menu items.
The menu will change periodically with fresh, creative dishes.
