VIEW GALLERY: SHS Seniors Complete ‘The Principles of Real Estate Practice in Massachusetts’

One of the core priorities of the Salem Public Schools 2023-26 Strategic Plan is elevating learning.
The perfect example:
Cynthia Nina-Soto, CEO of Nina Soto Realty and member of the Salem High School Class of 1999, celebrated her senior students on the completion of her first course, The Principles of Real Estate Practice in Massachusetts, Tuesday, May 14.
Students received certificates of completion on the final day of class and engaged in a question-answer session with three real estate professionals — Ms. Genesis Gonzalez and Mr. Jackinson Mena, both of Nina Soto Realty, and Mr. Patrick Maguire, CEO of the non-profit advocacy group, North Shore Realtors.
Among the topics discussed were:
- Budgeting
- Dealing with success and rejection
- The difference between commercial and residential real estate
- Investing in real estate
- How education and housing are what makes communities thrive, and more
