Elizabeth Pauley

Elizabeth Pauley is the Interim Assistant Superintendent of Finance and Operations for Salem Public Schools. Elizabeth leads a team that works in partnership with the schools and central office to advance the values of the Salem Public Schools by supporting the day-to-day and long-term financial and operational functions of Salem Public Schools.
Previously, Elizabeth was the Associate Vice President for Education and Health at the Boston Foundation, the community foundation for Greater Boston. There, she led a grantmaking portfolio focused on supporting the healthy development and education for children and young people, beginning at birth and continuing on through the launch of a career. Prior to the Boston Foundation, Elizabeth worked at the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, where she worked on issues related to educator quality and leadership development. Elizabeth began her career as a second and third-grade teacher in the Washington D.C. Public Schools.
Elizabeth has a Bachelor’s Degree from Mount Holyoke College and a Master’s Degree in Administration, Planning, and Social Policy from Harvard’s Graduate School of Education.
