VIEW GALLERY: ELSA Scholars Complete Four-Week Academy

The English Learners Summer Academy (ELSA), a thematic program for multilingual learners to develop their English proficiency through a project and inquiry-based model, wrapped up its four-week program Friday at the Saltonstall School. Students performed for their families and displayed summer projects which enhanced English learning.
Over the course of the four weeks, ELSA students were visited by Curious Creatures, visited a local zoo, worked on their language program in the morning then visited Camp Fire North Shore where they took part in theatre arts, sports, games, STEM projects, swimming, arts & crafts, and cooking.
