MBAE Observes Salem High School CTE and Early College

The Salem High School Career Technical Education (CTE) Department welcomed guests from the Massachusetts Business Alliance for Education (MBAE) and local dignitaries to showcase CTE and Early College programming; whether/how students could participate in both programs; and what support we need to further enhance these opportunities.

MBAE guests toured the graphics design work spaces as well as Witches Ink, the student-run print shop; carpentry, medical assisting labs and culinary arts classrooms, all while listening to student success stories and testimonials.

Other guests included Salem Mayor Dominick Pangallo, State Representative Manny Cruz (7th Essex District), Bob McCarthy (representing Senator Joan Lovely, 2nd Essex District); along with Rinus Oosthoek, President of the Salem Chamber of Commerce, and Salem Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Stephen Zrike.
