Senator Bruce Tarr’s 2025 North Shore Holiday Toy Drive to Benefit Salem Public Schools Families

Toy/Gift Card Drive kicked off Wednesday at Institution for Savings
SALEM (Dec. 3, 2025) – Senator Bruce Tarr’s 2025 Holiday Toy Drive, which benefits the families of Salem Public Schools, commenced Wednesday at the Salem branch of the Institution for Savings and is seeking donations for families in need this holiday season.
Donations can be made in several ways:
- Cash, new/unwrapped toys, and gift cards can be dropped off or mailed to Pathways for Children:
- Salem location: 27 Congress Street, Suite 1211, Monday (9 a.m.-5 p.m.), Tuesday-Wednesday (9 a.m.-7 p.m.), Thursday (9 a.m.-6 p.m.), Friday (9 a.m.-1 p.m.), first and third Saturday (9 a.m.-12 p.m.)
- Beverly location: 292 Cabot Street, Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
- Checks made out to Pathways For Children (include ‘North Shore Toy Drive’ in memo), sent to Pathways For Children, Attn: North Shore Toy Drive, 27 Congress Street, Suite 1211, Salem, Mass., 01970.

Senator Tarr (First Essex and Middlesex District) hosted the event.
Elizabeth Yoder, Director of Student Supports at SPS, was among the guests in attendance along with Salem State University President John Keenan (Salem High School ‘83), Salem Chief of Police Lucas Miller, Senator Joan Lovely (Second Essex District), and Institution for Savings President Michael Jones.
The Institution for Savings in Salem is one of 14 locations sponsoring the North Shore Holiday Toy Drive and serving as drop sites. Others include:
